Go through 4 levels of both hip flexor strengthen and releasing and lower back mobility and lengthening. This is an all standing Yoga based sequence rebalancing all the flexor structures. I am including all the Corrective Works signature instructions for deep core muscle activation through balance work. The Corrective Works Program follows the therapeutic concept of mobilizing and strengthening weakened structures, while stretching and reducing tone in overused and often painful areas of the body. Overused structures such as the flexors (hip flexor, chest, neck, abdominals) will be mobilized to regain their naural suppleness and mobility. Underused structures such as the erectors (glutes, hamstrings, deep back muscles and upper back) are strengthened and regain their natural tone. The yoga and pilates exercises aim for greater ease in posture and body use, empowering the body to better respond to the demands we place upon it in everyday life. The goal is to ensure the muscle can contract and release again. Ideally this is combined with (self-) massage work to open the fibres and allow better blood circulation in the affected areas.
